Tony Sweet
at Big Art Canvas
After 20 years as a professional jazz artist, Tony changed careers and
directed his creative juices towards nature photography. The
improvisational, spontaneous and abstract nature of jazz are also integral
elements of nature photography. The transition was seamless and he became
a full time professional photographer after only 5 years of studying and
building stock.
Tony uses digital technology to produce fine art giclée prints which
are exhibited in private and corporate collections throughout the
United States.
He maintains an active speaking schedule on the subjects of image
design, nature photography and marketing and addresses professional
photography organisations, photography schools, seminars and workshops
throughout the United States.
Tony's first book, "Fine Art Nature Photography: Advanced Techniques
and the Creative Process" was published by Stackpole Books in July, 2002.
Tony’s second book, "Fine Art Flower Photography: Creative Techniques
and the Art of Observation" was published in January, 2005.
