Shirley Trevena

Shirley is internationally renowned for her watercolour paintings of still life, flowers and landscape imagery.
She has been a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours for many years and exhibits her work annually at the Mall Galleries, London.
In 2001, Shirley won both Professional Watercolour Challenge (Channel 4) and the accolade of praise from judge Brian Sewell... praise indeed.
In her first year of membership of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours Shirley won the Windsor and Newton award for best paintings in the annual RI show.
Shirley's first book, Taking Risks With Watercolour was nominated for the 2005 Artists' Choice Award for art instruction book of the year.
'Vibrant Watercolours' her second book will be available in October 2006 published by Harper Collins.
