Reuben Steains

Reuben Steains is a freelance photographer specialising in documentary
and editorial photography on location. Born in the UK he studied
Documentary Photography at The Australian Centre for Photography. For
him the greatest satisfaction has come from searching for and making
images which tell a meaningful story whilst emotionally involving the
viewer.
Most of his images are anchored in live issues, such as the plight of
Tibetan Buddhism in exile or the street children of Nepal, two causes that
Reuben has raised funds for through exhibiting his work. Reuben has
travelled extensively throughout Asia and it was in Nepal and India that
his latest collection was captured.
